Rakugo performance by Mr Shinosuke Tatekawa (Performed in Japanese only)
Tatekawa Shinosuke graduated from Meiji University. From 1983, he studied under Tatekawa Danshi after working for a theatrical and advertising company. He became a full-fledged performer in May 1990, and was also awarded a cultural art festival prize in the same year.

The Japan Creative Centre and the Japanese Cultural Society are pleased to present a one-night only performance by Mr. Baisho Matsumoto, a Japanese Shamisen master and his troupe. The shamisen is a traditional Japanese musical instrument which has been around since the late 16th century. Since then, its distinctive sound has gained huge popularity amongst the Japanese and foreigners alike.
